Since 2004, Freeport is well known in specialised in HDMI Type A, C and D develop and manufacturing, and is currently in the middle of

evaluating the development process for Type E.

In 2006, Freeport has started the DP production in cable end connector, board mount side connector, Mini DP connector, adapter and cable assembly.

Freeport is authorised licensee for Apple Mini DispalyPort Connector Implementation program.

Also, we have also granted licence to patent claims necessary to implement the DisplayPort from Molex

– another world leading supplier of interconnect products.

Soon after USB 3.0 has been introduced in late 2008 by a partnership of developers led by Intel, Freeport is one of the earliest player has

commenced the production of USB 3.0 in 2009.

Mini SAS (iSAS) is the newest generation of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) cables. The smaller connector design and positive locking saves

space and insures reliable connections. Freeport's Mini SAS assembly solutions address the storage industry’s demand for more compact,

high-speed serial I/O interfaces.

Currently Mini SAS’s production line includes cable end connector, board mount connector and cable assembly.
